This little flower needed some pruning (I have no idea if flowers are pruned but it works for the story so go with me):
So, we took her this week to a neat little salon that specializes in children's haircuts. They have special car-chairs and a television the kids can watch. It probably would have been somewhat fun for everyone had we not made the mistake of letting the little flower discover these prior to her appointment (pretend like the blurry photos are and sharpity sharp sharp):
It was not the warm and fuzzy family moment I'd planned on, but that didn't stop me from taking pictures (although having to use the flash almost did):
We sang to her, we read to her, we tried to point out the other little kids that were getting a haircut- she wasn't having any of it- she wanted to be reunited with the toys. This picture pretty much sums up the entire experience, teething and all:
They even gave us a little "first haircut" certificate with a lock of her hair. And here she is...bless her little heart:
She was still a little bitter about being separated from all of the cool toys, not to mention the teething pain, but she got over it quickly:
I've always thought little girls with short hair were adorable, don't ask me why. Now I have one of my very own! I didn't think it was possible, but she is now even more adorable:)

She looks so cute! We have a hairdresser friend cut our kids' hair. They know here, and her kids like to stand around and watch, so it keeps them amused. So far, so good *Grin*.
She looks very cute! I agree that bobs are adorable on little girls. My daughter has alternated between bobs and longer hair, and she, and I for her, always want to go back to a bob.
It looks like your little girl survived the ordeal.
That's soooo cute. Little Flower looks good in that haircut. Looks like you all survived the experience.
Neither Pistol or LongRifle have ever had a haircut, as a matter of fact, it never even crossed my mind! LOL!! Maybe I should think about it, but seeing as how their hair barely started growing out sometime after January of this year I think we can wait a little longer.
