If lovin' this toy is wrong, she doesn't want to be right.

My daughter is in love. She eyed this at Target the other day and there was no question about it, it was coming home with us:

I wanted to just quickly peek at the toys and maybe find one or two she could play with in the yard. I thought I would let little flower have her fun for a few minutes and then when I was ready to go, it would be back into the cart and we'd be off. I was way wrong. Once she got her hands on this, they were NOT coming off.

It's a v-tech 3-in-1 thingamabob and I'm so glad it was on clearance for $20. Even if it had been $100, I would've paid it. I had to put all of the items that were in the cart in the seat, and put this thing and my dear little one in the back of the cart. Together. Touching. So she new it wasn't going anywhere:

If I had my druthers, I would've chosen a wooden puzzle or something, anything not made of obnoxiously colored plastic emitting even more obnoxious sounds. I usually like to research which toys are best for her age and developmental level. There would be none of that:

This was a no-brainer. She wanted it and I wanted to leave the store without a screaming- until-she-turned-blue toddler. Sounds like a win/win situation to me.

oh, v-tech thingamabob where have you been all of my 19 months of life?

Oh gosh, that last one of little flower and her v-tech thingamabob is the CUTEST!!

Fortunately for me, shopping with twins is super difficult and I usually have help, which usually means they don't get to attach themselves to anything, unless it's Grammy they happen to be travelling with!

The comment you left on my blog was too funny. I was just thinking that I wish I'd met you in person while you were still here in CA! Funny how you can connect with people you don't even know just by reading their blogs!

Hugs & Blessings!

That's so funny! We have a stuffed Siberian tiger that had the same effect on my eldest.

We had a stuffed Siberian tiger that my daughter was attached to as well as her cousin's dog... but, alas, that would be for another post and subject!

I love your daughter's sheer joy on her face!

I just happened upon your blog as VTech is a client of ours and I enjoyed reading about your little Target adventure and the toy.
