Spring Fever

I don't like living in California. I don't. I don't like the traffic. I don't like the rude people. I don't like paying an arm and a leg for a tiny apartment. I generally can't wait to leave. However, even I can appreciate the weather we've been having here lately. Perfection in my opinion. This is the view from my balcony...

It smells like spring in the air. It's hard not to notice the delicate scent of flowers while on my daily walk.

I threw open the windows yesterday and actually cleaned. The breeze was delightful.

It's days like these that make me think... are we making a mistake? Isn't it still snowing in Madison? It won't look or feel or smell like this in Madison until at least when, May?

Even my cat is starting to have second thoughts- she's the gray blob at the bottom of the picture.

Even my quivering, neurotic, not-at-all-like-a-normal-dog dog is getting into it. Good boy Piper...

I don't know...maybe we should stay in California. I mean we're already here, and the weather is soooo nice. I could probably convince my husband. Sweet little flower, do you want to forget all about silly old Madison and stay here? In California?

We're SO out of here!

Madison is great -- You're going to love it here! And yes, it's still snowing. Supposedly it will spring within a month. We'll see...
